Top 5 Lipsticks

I've never really been a lipstick person, mainly because I couldn't be bothered with re-application. And I was also terrified that my lipstick would be a complete mess after I had eaten/drunk (drank? drunken? words are hard) something. BUT I have been trying to get more into it, since I love the way lipstick can completely transform your face (and also your day too).

Here are my 5 favorite lipsticks at the moment:

But Sara, 3 of those are Rimmel London Kate Moss lipsticks. Oh yes, I do know that. These happen to be my favorite drugstore lipsticks; the formula, pigmentation, and wear of them are just amazing.

From left to right we have:
  • Rimmel London Kate Moss lipstick in the shade 05 - if it looks like I haven't used this a lot, that would be because I haven't. I just bought this a couple of weeks ago and haven't really had the chance to wear it yet. But the color is super pretty!
  • Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in the shade Watermelon - these just feel soooo niiiiiice. I used to wear this shade a lot my sophomore year, I don't know why I don't wear it more often these days.
  • Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick in the shade Bronze Berry - I actually swatched this at Macy's one time when I was home last year, loved the color, and then DIDN'T BUY IT. A week later I was still thinking about it, but had already gone back down to Newport News. AND I HAD FORGOTTEN THE NAME OF THE COLOR. I hunted this sucker down for weeks.
  • Rimmel London Kate Moss lipstick in the shade 107 - this is actually the lipstick I'm wearing in my pictures in my 'About' section on here. This is the perfect deep red for my skintone, I'm absolutely in love with it.
  • Rimmel London Kate Moss lipstick in the shade 17 - I had to save the best for last, right? Guys I LOVE this lipstick. It's the prettiest salmony pink color, and it's great for everyday looks. This is the one I wear most often since it's not totally OUT THERE.

And there they are swatched in the same order as the pictures above! Please enjoy and try not to be blinded by my astounding paleness. *that's an indent from my watch, for those that are wondering. I have to wear it a little ways up my arm since it slides around on my actually wrist area*

Zara Wishlist

If there was one store that I could get ALL of my clothing from, I think it would have to be Zara. Ok, some of their stuff is kind of too ~out there~ for me, but most of it is exactly what my style is based off of: simple, clean cut pieces that are stylish and comfortable at the same time. I did have a little bit of irrational thinking and placed a Zara order a couple of days ago that I probably shouldn't have, but I just had one of those moments where I was like "I NEED this". So that should be coming in the mail soon.

I was looking through the website and decided I should create a kind of wishlist - all of the things I would most definitely buy if I had the moolah for it. *I do want to say that all of these pictures are from the Zara website, and I have no intention as passing them off as my own.*

  1. Straight cut chain dress
  2. Bomber jacket
  3. Jacquard dress
  4. Mini tote with interior print
  5. Long vigoré jacket
  6. Basic shirt
  7. Guipure lace skater dress
  8. Necklace pack
  9. Denim shorts (those are pineapples, by the way) (they're so freakin cute)
  10. Leather slingbacks with strap

March '16 Favorites

School and work have been keeping me super busy, so I haven't posted in a whiiiiile. But I did want to do a March Favorites post, since there were a number of products that I fell in love with this past month.

1. The first isn't actually all that new (it came out a while ago), but it's new to me. Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer is a mouthful, but it works woooonders. I have pretty prominent under-eye circles and this covers them up super well. It's a really creamy formula, which I love.

2. The second product is kind of weird, but it's Lush's T For Toes. It's basically a deodorant for your feet. I used to work at a Lush and this product always intrigued me, but I never actually bought it. But summer's coming up and no one likes smelly feet, so I picked this up the last time I was home. It has a citrusy, herbaly kind of smell (which I think is quite pleasant), and it does help with odor and sweat (TMI sorry haha). It IS kind of messy, but I've just figured out a way to get it on my feet that works for me.

3. There are so many good things I can say about Tarte's Tartelette In Bloom palette. It's just....it's so nice. All of the colors are so pretty, and it has almost every color I would ever need (I do love my golds, which this palette doesn't have). The packaging is super pretty and there's so many different looks you can get just from this one palette. I did notice a little bit of fallout, but I don't really have a big problem with that.

4. I mentioned this product in my Memebox haul post, and I've been absolutely loving it! Banila Co.'s Clean It Zero is just amazing. It takes all of my makeup off and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. Which is all I want and need in this product.

5. Ok so this isn't a beauty product at all, but THIS CANDLE, MAN. This pink magnolia candle from Target smells SO GOOD. SO GOOD. It smells like flowers and springtime and sunshine and happiness, and I know that Target's candle section has a somewhat high turnover with their Target brand candles, so I'm just gonna have to stock up. Because this candle is amazeballs. *It also comes in multiple sizes :D*

6. So I saved the best for last, because I've finally found a shampoo and conditioner that I am in LOVE WITH. This is the only haircare system thing that I've tried that I could actually tell a difference in my hair after the first time I used it. And it's amazing. Dove, I don't know how you did it, but your Regenerative Nourishment line is just A+. It makes my hair feel soft, clean, and strong, and it's extremely affordable. I don't know if I'll be able to find another shampoo and conditioner in the same price point that will affect me on the same level as this stuff has.

Aaaaand that's it! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel that is this semester, so I'll be able to post more over the summer :)
